Multicolor Search Lab

My wedding colors are black, cream and clover, but when it came time to pick flowers, I knew I wanted some more color incorporated into the arrangements. I was mostly leaning toward shades of purple, but wasn't positive if that was still the look I was going for. Molly sent me this awesome website two weeks ago that really helped me envision what mix of colors look great together. It's called the multicolor search lab, and it finds pictures on flicker with a combination of the colors you chose. Now, I am definitely leaning toward adding yellows to my color scheme!

Isn't this a pretty floral arrangement? It has ALL my colors! I think it's so vibrant and spring-like, which is great. I'm definitely saving this picture to my weddzilla account!

It reminds me of the johnny jump-ups that used to grow all over my lawn every summer growing up in Pennsylvania..

Be sure to check out the multicolor search lab!

That is the best website ever!!! Thanks for sharing! Is there a way to search within the results for more specific images (like flowers)?

Oh, that is a beautiful bouquet. My wedding colors were navy blue and orange. Sounds weird, but the orange was only in the flowers and the flower girls tutus.

The purple and yellow look so good together! Better than I would have imagined, actually. Our main colors are turquoise and clementine - and I have NO idea what we're going for flowers. I'd love to add some light pinks and yellow in there, if it goes!

So pretty! I had those in my yard growing up too!!! Great reminder of your childhood in your wedding! :)

Awesome website.Great for planning quilt color combinations-or flower bouquets!I love johnny jump ups.Grandma Lois planted them and I'm pretty sure you and Melissa bought me some for mother's day and they've been here ever since. They are the inspiration behind my purple quilt.

Just found your blog--I'm a follower now :)

I just wanted to say that I *love* those flowers and colors together. They are GORGEOUS. We are using a lot of purple tones in our wedding too so I'm oddly obsessed with purple right now :)
