Marry Me

Follow my blog with bloglovin

Chris and I went out with Kerry and Mike on Friday night and Kerry told me that I just HAD to make sure that I listened to the new Train song entitled "Marry Me".

Woa folks...woa. This song is just beautiful.
Though we have "picked" a song, I have always said that I could be easily swayed should another song come out before our wedding that was a definite contender..and this could be it. Though...I think Kerry is thinking the same thing so I would need to check with her first!! ;) Either way, you can bet this will be used for future slide shows, and wedding related uses in one way or another!

"Marry Me"
Train

Forever can never be long enough for me
Feel like I've had long enough with you
Forget the world now we won't let them see
But there's one thing left to do

Now that the weight has lifted
Love has surely shifted my way
Marry Me
Today and every day
Marry Me
If I ever get the nerve to say
Hello in this cafe
Say you will
Mm-hmm
Say you will
Mm-hmm

Together can never be close enough for me
Feel like I am close enough to you
You wear white and I'll wear out the words I love
And you're beautiful
Now that the wait is over
And love and has finally shown her my way
Marry me
Today and every day
Marry me
If I ever get the nerve to say hello in this cafe
Say you will
Mm-hmm
Say you will
Mm-hmm

Promise me
You'll always be
Happy by my side
I promise to
Sing to you
When all the music dies

And marry me
Today and everyday
Marry me
If I ever get the nerve to say hello in this cafe
Say you will
Mm-hmm
Say you will
Marry me
Mm-hmm

What was/is your first dance song?

This is a beautiful song! Our song was "Fly Me to the Moon." We loved it because it was fun and upbeat.

Melissa told me about this song yesterday. I haven't heard it yet but the lyrics are beautiful. I will listen to it later. I like Marry Me by Bruno Mars too but then I have a crush on him (<3) and it's not exactly a wedding song. So switch you song to this one if you want. You're the bride and you can do whatever you want!

I love this song and wish it was around when I got married! The lyrics are so sweet!

I consider my wedding song to be our entrance song to the reception - "September" by Earth, Wind and Fire :)
