Dear FutureMe,
Hello! So...lots has happened in the past year huh? You got a new job! You know where you're headed in life, you're engaged and have a date set for the wedding! And, you're finally moved into your own house with Chris. I figure the beginning of 2010 was a bit of a roller coaster, but you're finally in a comfortable place..personally and literally.
You're also keeping up with your running! Fantastic!
I obviously didn't get too "deep" here, and just went with a general prediction email, but overall I was quite pleased when I read my letter. Out of all the things I predicted would happen, all but one did. (Which was "you got a new job", but luckily I got a new job 3 months later in August) That and moving "into your own house" isn't exactly the same as moving into your "fiance's parent's basement", but it was certainly a step in the right direction. I like how I added that little bit about running, as an extra little jab just in case I didn't keep up with it.
I think this is a really neat feature and I plan to write one to myself right before the wedding to get delivered on our one year anniversary. What would my married-for-1-year-self want to read next May?!
Will you write yourself a letter to the future with FutureMe.org?

That is really cool. So instead of a to do list it's an already done list! So instead of a vision board it's a vision letter.
What a cool feature! I will definitely check it out!
Thanks for sharing this, Laura! What a great tool for brides to use. My letter is scheduled to be sent on the eve on our wedding.
What a cool concept! I would totally write to myself in the future!! Maybe on our 5 year anniversary!
I did that old school once. When I was 16 I wrote a letter to myself to open up on my 25th birthday. It was really trippy.
Wow, this is so cool! I have never heard of this site before but love the concept. I'll definitely be sending myself a note!
