Wishing Tree Tag DIY Trays

Many of you may remember from my Wishing Tree post, that I intended to make some display trays with our wishing tree tags. Well I am happy to report that the project is done and it came out even better than I could have imagined!

I bought wooden trays at Michaels.

Me Gusta! Put some of the paper musical hearts that you punched out in the empty spaces. It will add a nice touch and it's a way to incorporate those too.

Very nice touch making the tray darker. That really made the tags pop!

What a cool idea..I hope to be able to display our untraditional guest book/wishing tree somewhere in the house after the wedding. Yours came out great!

Looks great! How big are these trays? I am looking to do a similar project for the wedding but only saw smaller tray in Michaels and AC Moore.

That's a great idea! I was wondering whether people just end up throwing their wishing tree out some time after the wedding. It's great to see it get worked into new projects. :)
