Hello! After about 3 weeks of wedding/honeymoon madness I am finally back to reality. I can't believe everything that has gone on in my life in the past few weeks, and now moving upstairs into a house is bringing about even more change for us in the coming weeks! I am so overwhelmed by all the catching up on things that I need to do, but I'd really like to get started on these recaps! So let's get started shall we??
Friday, May 20th - The day before the wedding
I was still running around all morning making some last minute errands on Friday. I was multi-tasking a little too much and actually got a ticket for being on my phone while driving!! I was heading to our venue to drop off our seating chart and some other items, and really needed to call our hotel to confirm some things with our party. I know I know...I was being bad, but I swear I had it on speaker phone! Well, Mr. Cop pulled me over right away. I was too frazzled and angry to give him a whole sob story, so I didn't even go into the whole "but I'm getting marrrried..." thing. Sometimes you can tell when a cop might cut you a break or might not. This guy - most certainly was not an "I'll cut you a break" type guy. Great way to start the weekend huh?
Luckily, most of my bridesmaids came in early that day around 2:00 for lunch and then mani/pedis at a place down the street. Smith and Mal made a little pit-stop at the liquor store next door and supplied champagne for the event! When I arrived at the salon, wedding weekend had officially begun and I wasn't going to let anything get in my way, not even a stupid ticket!

We pretty much took over the place when we arrived. Mom finally arrived a little bit later and jumped on the champagne bandwagon!
Smith was a good bridesmaid and made sure that I was always drinking my champagne...even when I couldn't do it myself.

Can I just point out she's wearing the wedding colors? |
Kerry got stuck in some traffic after school getting to the salon, but I'm so glad she was able to come! (I think we maaayyy have finished the champagne by the time she came though...whoops!! Sorry Kerry!)

Cassie was there, too!! But she also arrived later and I didn't get any picture of her :( Sorry Cass!
Mani/Pedis was a great way to start the weekend and get everyone excited and ready to go! I highly recommend doing this with your girls before the wedding if you can!

Welcome back from Fantasy Land! Yes the mani/pedis were wonderful. And the champaign certainly got rid of my headache!
Welcome back!! Missed you and can't wait for all the recaps! I am doing mani-pedis with my girls too!!

So happy to have you back.
God bless!
So sorry you got a ticket! What a major bummer! But it sounds like you definitely made up for it with some tasty bubbly! :)
Manis/Pedis + Champagne = Happiness!
Welcome home! :) Sounds like a FUN way to get into the flow of the wedding weekend!
Welcome back! I can't believe you got a ticket--that blows! I probably would have had a total metldown haha. Can't wait for more recaps! :)
A great treat to start the weekend :) And what amazing friends you have, bringing and 'feeding' you champagne!!
love it! looks like so much fun. you seem to have gotten a great group of gals as bridesmaids ;)
How cute? Looks like so much fun! Also, please tell me that's a bottle of BALLS vodka. I almost snarfed water while reading this - that.is.awesome. HAHAH! :)
What fun! Your gals definitely took care of you and made sure you were stress free before your big day!! Welcome back!!
Oh horrible on the ticket part. 2 years ago a girl hit my car and she was so flustered (even though she hit me)...turns out she was about to go get ready for her wedding. I wondered why her hair was so nice. Looks like a fabulous time...can't wait to see more pictures of your day!
yay for recaps!!!
Looked like fun!
