Bridal Shower is HERE

It's my Bridal Shower weekend!!! I'm taking a bus home tonight right after work. Then Chris is driving down with his parents tomorrow. The guys are just going to bum around the area during the shower, probably go to a bar somewhere, and then Chris will come at the end to help me bring all our gifts back to the house. Then we're staying at my parent's house for the night, hopefully going out Saturday night with all my friends who are in town. Then we'll meet up with Chris' parents on Sunday so they can drive us back to New York. Since I'm going home 3 weekends in a row, it's kind of nice to have someone else do the drive for once, this breaks it up nicely.

As you may recall from this post, my shower will be at the Buckeye Tavern in Pennsylvania.

I am soooooo excited/anxious for the shower and I know my mom and sister have done a fantastic job planning it so far! I also can't wait to wear my shower dress! I got this a few weeks ago from The Limited online:

Yea...it's a dress in my wedding colors. Truthfully, I really loved this dress in general and it was the right style of dress that I wanted to wear. The fact that it happened to be in my wedding colors was the icing on the cake. I emailed a picture of it to my mom saying "Tell me...is this just overkill with the colors at this point?" and her response was basically "It's cute...who the heck cares?" And so I bought it and it fit perfectly!
